Warren J. Roy, Partner

Warren Roy has been licensed as a certified public accountant for over 30 years, originally in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and since 1997 in the State of Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Warren began his career with a regional firm located in Boston, Massachusetts, becoming a partner with the firm in 1981. In 1983 he founded a regional firm in Boston that had continued growth through 1997. In 1997, he sold the firm and headed to warm weather, establishing the firm Roy and Spamer P.A. now located in Delray Beach, Florida.

Warren has extensive experience in real estate accounting and taxation for developers, managers, brokers, contractors and owners; service industries in the medical, legal and consulting professions. In addition, he serves on numerous management committees at the request of the business owner to provide oversight and consulting services. He graduated from the Bentley University with honors in 1974 with a degree in accounting. He is actively involved in the community through serving on the board of directors of various not-for-profit organizations.

Further, he serves as acting chief financial officer (CFO) for numerous clients, providing all the financial services required including bank negotiations, financing, employee matters, litigation support and operational support.

Charles’ experience includes tax and accounting matters for a Fortune 500 company, a national equipment leasing company and a national technology consulting company. These experiences, coupled with those since joining Roy and Spamer P.A. as a shareholder in 2001 has allowed him to recognize and adapt to the needs to many varied industries and their specific needs.

Charles graduated from the University of South Florida in 1991 with a degree in accounting and a post baccalaureate in accounting in 1992. He has been licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida since 1994. Charles has actively been involved in the community through serving on the board of directors of various not-for-profit organizations.
